A VHS tape found in the desert helped arrest and convict Chester Arthur Stiles of 10 counts of lewdness with a child under the age of 14, 11 counts of sexual assault with a minor under 14, and one count of attempted sexual assault with a minor under 14.

The police hunted Stiles down after a man found the videotape that Stiles had made in a Nevada desert. The videotape showed him sexually assaulting a 2 year old girl as well as Stiles molesting a 6 year old.

Stiles’ sentencing is May 8. He faces possible multiple life sentences.
