A late Thursday evening attack at a San Gabriel, Calif. coffee shop left 1 person dead and 6 others injured. According to witnesses, two gunman entered the cafe and opened fire on a table full of customers.   It is believed that the attack is gang related and that the gunmen were targeting a specific individual because the gunmen didn’t demand any cash.

Sheriff’s spokesman, Steve Whitmore said:

“As far as we can see, they came in and started firing. The preliminary investigation would lead homicide detectives to believe it is gang related.”

At the time the attack occurred, the coffee shop was crowed. The police are having a difficult time finding witnesses because many fear fo their own safety and fear retaliation. Whitmore also added:

“We know people saw something, and we need them to come forward and help us solve this crime.”
