According to AP reports, actress Natasha Richardson, daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, wife on Liam Neeson, passed away today after suffering a head injury from a skiing accident Monday in Quebec.
Richardson was on the bunny slopes at Mont Tremblant Ski Resort in Quebec, having a private lesson for beginners when the accident occurred.
Richardson complained of her head hurting later and was taken to the hospital. She was later moved to New York.
Neeson’s publicist, Alan Nierob, issued this statement:
“Liam Neeson, his sons (Michael and Daniel), and the entire family are shocked and devestated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”
